Bill lived and worked in the Washington, DC,
New York City and Princeton, NJ areas before
moving to Melbourne in 1989. He has been
active in the community and has served on several
different boards. He is also involved
in regular fund raising activities. He
enjoys tennis and golf.
Bill and
his wife Lee, a school psychologist, have two
children.

CAREER
HIGHLIGHTS
Bill is admitted to the State Bars of Florida,
New York, District of Columbia and Maryland. He
is a member of the Florida Bar (Business Law
Section) and the Brevard County Bar Association.
Bill worked
as a trial attorney for the Antitrust Division
of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington,
DC, before entering the corporate sector as
a member of the RCA, and later GE corporate
law departments in New York. He was
also with the Harris Corporation law department
and was General Counsel to Reed Telepublishing,
a $500 million multi-national corporation. In
all these positions, Bill regularly focused
on general corporate matters, high profile
and day-to-day business contracts and transactions,
technology protection and licensing, and the
resolution of disputes. In 1994, Bill
entered the private practice of law in Melbourne.
He has also been affiliated with a DC law firm.
PROFESSIONAL
HIGHLIGHTS
In recent years, Bill has counseled privately
held companies, public corporations, government
agencies and educational institutions in connection
with corporate issues, transactions and disputes,
employment matters (representing management
or senior executives), trademarks, technology
licensing, government contracts, government
regulation of business, exports, international
transactions and general business matters. He
has advised on shareholder and real estate
issues and has structured complex transactions,
license agreements and numerous business contracts. He
is also the author or co-author of articles
and is a regular speaker on a variety of subjects.
